Stirrup Treads
JODPHUR BOOTS, Slippy? which causes me to lose my stirruips?
My boots have become really slippy, they just slid straight out of the stirrup:S I’ve tried riding with stirrup treads, which made no difference, ive tried changing the size of the stirrups..making my stirrups really short, and literally straining to put my heels down, but even when i point my heels down my feet just causally slid out, how can i toughen the bottom of my boots? to make them mote rougher so they wont slip?

Go buy some stick -on soles and put them on your boots, using the rough treads on the stirrups themselves will also help.
Can’t understand why some people make riding boots with no grip whatsoever – it’s just daft.
