Pacific Cycle

I actually have a HEADACHE trying to figure out my new bike lock… A little help please?
The lock I have is a (pink) bike combo lock. Five feet, triple braided. It’s a Master Lock bike lock, and the way it came is kinda springy. It advertises Pacific Cycle on the back. Directions are: Turn dials to 0000 and pull out A of B. (done) Hold B towards me, (done) and rotate counter clockwise until it stops. (It never does.) Set dials to your combo (TURN WHICH WAY TO SET THOUGH?? THAT’S QUESTION #1.) Rotate clockwise until they stop (again, never do). Check combo set at line (after it stops, I’m assuming) and it should be your code.
So, I’ve given myself a headache trying to figure it out, but it hasn’t worked for me. For some reason, it sets only the first number to what THEY want, then the rest is the generic 000. For example, it’s somehow set to 3000. Not the safest code!!
Anyone think they have the same lock as me, or a similar one, and can help me?
Thanks!!
Product number/code is ML75585.
Contact your local bike shop or Master Lock (by phone). You are probably not the first person who has had difficulty with setting your own combination.
