will jack daniels and ginger ale go nicely together? tips on how not to feel sick?
I tend to feel a little sick while drinking alcohol no matter what, and I’ve been an occasional drinker for quite some time now. I am going to a large summer starting party this Saturday, and want to get a bit more than tipsy, and still feel good enough to walk around and socialize, and DANCE!
Jack Daniels whisky has always been the easiest hard liquor on my stomach (I really don’t know why) and I know ginger ale is known for making tummy aches go away. I want to either mix the two, or use the ginger ale as chase, which should I do that will benefit how I feel? How long should I wait between shots? (If it matters, I’m 5’5, 120 pounds)
Also, I’ve heard its a good idea to sip water throughout the night while drinking, yay or nay?
Thanks guys:)
While Jack Daniels is not really a bourbon, it is close enough, and bourbon and ginger ale combine very well. The tricky part is the ginger ale; I’m not sure, and I could be completely wrong, but I suspect that a lot of the fountain ginger ale might use artificial flavor instead of real ginger. If that is the case, you’re not going to get the stomach-soothing effect that natural ginger provides.
1 drink per hour is always a safe and easy to track pace.
